HR Coordinator
<p>We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team in Auburndale, Florida. This is a contract position that could become full time requiring an experienced and detail-oriented individual to oversee HR operations for a site with approximately 160 employees and 20 contract staff. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of employment laws, and a proactive approach to employee engagement. This is an <strong>on-site, 5 days a week</strong> position.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Serve as the primary HR contact for site employees, ensuring their questions and concerns are addressed promptly.</p><p>• Manage onboarding processes, including orientations and I-9 verifications, to ensure smooth integration of new hires.</p><p>• Provide guidance and coaching to employees and managers, addressing workplace issues and conducting investigations as needed.</p><p>• Act as the liaison for payroll and benefits inquiries, coordinating with the HR Shared Services Team.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all HR practices.</p><p>• Prepare HR data reports and conduct quarterly audits to maintain accuracy and transparency.</p><p>• Support recruitment efforts, including permanent and contract hiring, particularly as the site transitions to a third shift.</p><p>• Foster a high-energy, employee-focused work environment that encourages engagement and productivity.</p><p>• Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee records and streamline administrative processes.</p>
• Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.<br>• Strong expertise in onboarding, HR administration, and background checks.<br>• Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.<br>• Proficiency in HRIS systems and data reporting.<br>• Experience in handling employee investigations and providing coaching to managers.<br>• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>• Familiarity with payroll and benefits coordination.
