We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain/Procurement Manager to oversee and optimize procurement operations and logistics processes. This long-term contract position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic supply chain initiatives while ensuring compliance with government regulations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing complex global supply chains and procurement systems.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage procurement processes to ensure timely and efficient acquisition of goods and services.<br>• Oversee logistics operations to streamline supply chain activities and improve overall efficiency.<br>• Develop and implement strategies for managing global supply chains effectively.<br>• Ensure compliance with federal and state government regulations in procurement and logistics.<br>• Review and process purchase requests in alignment with organizational policies.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support supply chain initiatives and resolve operational challenges.<br>• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.<br>• Utilize PeopleSoft or similar systems to manage procurement and logistics workflows.<br>• Prepare reports and analyses to inform decision-making and optimize supply chain performance.<br>• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance procurement and logistics processes.

• Proven experience in supply chain logistics and procurement management.<br>• Strong knowledge of global supply chain operations and strategies.<br>• Familiarity with federal and state government compliance requirements.<br>• Proficiency in using PeopleSoft or similar enterprise systems.<br>• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.<br>• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders.<br>• Experience in developing and maintaining vendor relationships.
