Content Specialist
<p>Our client is seeking a Full Time/Direct Hire Content Specialist to join their team in Atlanta. This role requires candidates to be in office a minimum of 3 days per week. </p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for a Content Specialist to develop, write, and manage engaging content that strengthens our brand presence and supports marketing initiatives. This role will translate complex or technical topics into clear, approachable content that connects with our audience across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who understands how content influences awareness, engagement, and conversion throughout the customer or patient journey.</p>
<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><p> • Plan, research, and write content for blogs, website pages, landing pages, email campaigns, and printed materials</p><p> • Develop clear, audience-friendly messaging that aligns with brand tone and voice</p><p> • Create and schedule content for social media channels, ensuring consistency across platforms</p><p> • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to gather information and translate it into compelling stories</p><p> • Optimize content for SEO, including keyword research, meta descriptions, and on-page structure</p><p> • Track content performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, ranking, and conversion</p><p> • Manage content calendars to ensure timely publishing and campaign alignment</p><p> • Coordinate with freelancers, agencies, and creative partners when needed</p><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><p> • 1 to 4 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, marketing communications, journalism, or a related field</p><p> • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple mediums</p><p> • Ability to simplify complex topics into approachable and engaging language</p><p> • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, subject matter experts, and leadership teams</p><p> • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization strategies</p><p> • Experience creating content for websites, blogs, social channels, and email campaigns</p><p> • Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once</p><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><p> • Experience in healthcare, wellness, professional services, or an industry with technical subject matter</p><p> • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Squarespace, or similar)</p><p> • Light design skills in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite</p><p> • Experience with video scripting or short-form content editing</p><p><strong>What Makes This Role Unique</strong></p><p> This role is hands-on and creative, with direct impact on how audiences understand and experience our brand.
