Project Coordinator
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in the greater Richmond, Virginia area. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting procurement activities, managing vendor relationships, and contributing to the success of development projects. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for project coordination.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Assist in planning and managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments to ensure successful project execution.</p><p>• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure optimal contracts and pricing.</p><p>• Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors while ensuring compliance with agreed terms.</p><p>• Draft, review, and oversee procurement contracts, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.</p><p>• Track expenditures, approve invoices, and manage payment schedules to maintain cost efficiency.</p><p>• Prepare and present detailed reports and updates for stakeholders and management.</p><p>• Maintain organized records and audit trails for all procurement activities.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, operations, and project management, to streamline processes.</p><p>• Support change management initiatives and contribute to process improvement efforts.</p><p>• Utilize tools such as Office, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and SharePoint to enhance project tracking and reporting.</p>
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or procurement-related roles.<br>• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile.<br>• Strong skills in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.<br>• Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.<br>• Ability to manage timelines and schedules effectively.<br>• Expertise in using Office applications, including Excel, as well as tools like Power BI and Tableau.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills.<br>• Familiarity with maintaining documentation and reporting for audit purposes.
