We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Arroyo Grande, California. This role involves working with individuals and businesses to prepare accurate and compliant tax returns while providing outstanding client service. If you have a strong background in tax preparation and accounting, along with excellent attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and corporations using software such as UltraTax, SurePrep, and QuickBooks.<br>• Examine financial documents, including income statements and balance sheets, to ensure accuracy and compliance.<br>• Stay informed on current tax laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance and services.<br>• Analyze client financial data to identify opportunities for tax savings and financial improvements.<br>• Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining a high level of customer service.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address complex tax issues and provide solutions.<br>• Assist with bookkeeping tasks and corporate accounting as required.<br>• Ensure all work adheres to technical accounting practices and standards.

<p>• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation.</p><p>• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts.</p><p>• Proficiency in using accounting software, including QuickBooks and UltraTax.</p><p>• Experience in bookkeeping and corporate accounting.</p><p>• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with clients and team members.</p><p>• Ability to stay updated on evolving tax laws and regulations.</p><p>• CPA or EA certification is required</p>
