We are looking for a contract Branch/Retail Banking Clerk to join our team in Arroyo Grande, California. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting with daily banking operations. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience in the banking industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet customers warmly and provide efficient, courteous service.<br>• Process various banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing, with accuracy.<br>• Ensure the cash drawer is balanced and transactions are reconciled at the end of each shift.<br>• Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive customer and bank information.<br>• Assist customers with account inquiries and direct them to appropriate staff for more complex issues.<br>• Identify customer needs and recommend banking products or services that align with their goals.<br>• Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.<br>• Provide support for administrative tasks and operational duties as needed.

• Previous experience in cash handling or customer service is preferred.<br>• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.<br>• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.<br>• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.<br>• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to commit to the required hours for the duration of the contract.<br>• Familiarity with retail banking operations and transactions is a plus.<br>• High attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial processes.
