Accounts Receivable Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Apex, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, maintaining customer accounts, and managing credit risk. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with multiple departments to achieve financial objectives.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Review flagged orders to assess credit risks and ensure they comply with company credit policies.<br>• Partner with the Sales team to address any delays or holds caused by credit reviews.<br>• Track and manage open accounts receivable items to ensure timely payments.<br>• Conduct risk assessments and recommend terms for customers based on existing agreements and analyses.<br>• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers, scheduling regular calls to address account discrepancies.<br>• Process valid deductions efficiently and accurately, adhering to approved workflows.<br>• Collect overdue payments and resolve unauthorized deductions, such as chargebacks.<br>• Analyze and reconcile accounts for key customers, ensuring alignment between company and customer systems.<br>• Verify, validate, and maintain all relevant documentation for assigned accounts.<br>• Provide detailed analysis and reports on customer accounts as needed.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, collections, or a similar role.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.<br>• Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.<br>• Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills for resolving issues effectively.<br>• Familiarity with automated collection and dispute management software; experience with specific company systems is a plus.<br>• Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and manage credit risks efficiently.<br>• Strong interpersonal skills for building customer relationships and resolving disputes.
