Property Administrator
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our team in the north metro of the Twin Cities, on a contract basis. In this role, you will support tenants and property management operations by overseeing leasing processes, maintaining compliance, and acting as a liaison with housing authorities. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative and organizational skills, particularly in subsidized housing programs.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Guide prospective tenants through the application and leasing processes for Section 8 and other subsidized housing programs.</p><p>• Verify tenant eligibility by reviewing income, household size, and required documentation according to local and organizational regulations.</p><p>• Schedule and coordinate unit inspections with representatives from local housing authorities.</p><p>• Draft, review, and finalize lease agreements to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.</p><p>• Keep resident files organized and updated to meet compliance requirements for audits.</p><p>• Act as the primary point of contact between tenants, property management, and housing authorities.</p><p>• Submit necessary documents such as recertifications and interim changes in a timely manner.</p><p>• Track unit availability, rent rates, and occupancy levels to meet leasing objectives.</p><p>• Address tenant questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.</p><p>• Manage tenant leads and waiting lists while adhering to fair housing laws.</p>
• Proven experience in property administration or subsidized housing programs.<br>• Familiarity with lease agreements, lease administration, and compliance processes.<br>• Proficiency in accounting software systems and CRM tools.<br>• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.<br>• Experience with budget processes and billing functions.<br>• Strong organizational and communication skills.<br>• Ability to handle tenant inquiries with empathy and professionalism.<br>• Understanding of fair housing laws and regulations.
