Paralegal
<p>We are looking for an experienced<strong> Paralegal </strong>to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota on a<strong> long-term contract basis</strong>. This role primarily involves litigation tasks, including trial preparation, mediation, and discovery. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in <strong>Minnesota litigation</strong>, particularly in personal injury cases, and thrive in a self-directed environment where accountability and proactive case management are key.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage all aspects of litigation cases, including trial preparation, discovery, and mediation.</p><p>• Conduct thorough research and ensure compliance with Minnesota Rules of Civil Procedure and No-Fault law.</p><p>• Draft and file legal documents, motions, and pleadings with accuracy and attention to detail.</p><p>• Coordinate depositions, prepare materials, and assist attorneys during trial proceedings.</p><p>• Handle pre-litigation tasks such as case intake, client communication, and evidence gathering.</p><p>• Maintain organized case files and track deadlines to ensure timely progress on all cases.</p><p>• Collaborate with attorneys to strategize and maximize the value of each case.</p><p>• Utilize case management software to document and monitor case updates efficiently.</p><p>• Anticipate case needs and provide proactive support to attorneys without waiting for instructions.</p><p>• Engage in occasional in-person meetings to connect with clients and team members.</p>
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on personal injury preferred.<br>• Strong knowledge of Minnesota Rules of Civil Procedure and No-Fault law.<br>• Proven experience in trial and mediation preparation.<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br>• Ability to work independently and take ownership of case files.<br>• Proficiency in case management software and technology tools.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with civil litigation processes and strategies.
