We are looking for an experienced Prevailing Wage Coordinator to manage certified payroll compliance for public works and federally funded construction projects. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring adherence to prevailing wage regulations at local, state, and federal levels. This is a Contract-to-permanent position located in Aliso Viejo, California, offering the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with payroll standards and support project success.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee compliance with prevailing wage requirements across public and private construction projects.<br>• Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports using compliance software such as Tracker.<br>• Monitor payroll submissions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.<br>• Conduct audits of payroll records to ensure adherence to prevailing wage laws and regulations.<br>• Stay informed on changes to wage determinations, labor classifications, and compliance standards.<br>• Collaborate with project management, accounting, and HR teams to align payroll processes with regulatory obligations.<br>• Assist in preparing documentation for audits and certifications related to tax credits.<br>• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act and California Prevailing Wage Law.<br>• Support the implementation of compliance measures under the Inflation Reduction Act and Investment Tax Credit programs.<br>• Provide guidance and training to internal teams regarding certified payroll processes and prevailing wage requirements.

<p>• 2–5 years of experience in payroll compliance, prevailing wage coordination, or certified payroll administration.</p><p>• Proficiency in compliance software such as LCP Tracker; experience with other systems like Alliant is advantageous.</p><p>• Comprehensive knowledge of prevailing wage laws, including the Davis-Bacon Act and California regulations.</p><p>• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll record review and reporting.</p><p>• Proven ability to manage compliance in construction-related industries.</p><p>• Effective communication skills for coordinating across departments and external partners.</p><p>• Familiarity with tax credit compliance under the Inflation Reduction Act is a plus.</p><p>• Experience preparing for audits or managing documentation for certifications.</p>
