<p>We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a vital role in creating intuitive and accessible web interfaces while ensuring high performance and seamless user experiences. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development of reusable components, implement accessibility standards, and optimize digital touchpoints.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Design and develop responsive web interfaces using JavaScript and Astro.js to deliver exceptional user experiences.</p><p>• Build and maintain modular, reusable components that adhere to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.</p><p>• Work closely with designers and marketers to transform wireframes and mockups into functional and visually appealing interfaces.</p><p>• Incorporate best practices in web development, including performance optimization and structured data implementation.</p><p>• Ensure all web properties meet accessibility standards, including compliance with guidelines.</p><p>• Optimize websites for cross-browser compatibility and improve accessibility through semantic HTML and proper roles.</p><p>• Manage and enhance the component library to ensure scalability and consistency across projects.</p><p>• Provide technical support and share expertise with internal teams to foster a collaborative environment.</p><p>• Stay updated on emerging technologies, UI/UX trends, and web standards to continuously improve development processes.</p><p>Other duties as needed</p>

<p>For consideration please apply</p><p><br></p><p>• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and experience with modern frameworks.</p><p>• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices for creating accessible web interfaces.</p><p>• Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD and experience in UI/UX design principles.</p><p>• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</p><p>• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD workflows.</p><p>• Knowledge of component-based architecture and design systems.</p><p>• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent relevant experience.</p><p>• At least 3 years of front-end web development experience, with hands-on expertise in Astro.js or similar tools.</p><p><br></p><p>Background required prior to employment</p>
