<p>We're seeking a hardworking and experienced Paralegal with 3-5 years of minimum litigation experience. The role primarily involves drafting and editing of discovery and other legal documents, setting up and maintaining files, proofreading work for accuracy, and comprehending and indexing case documents. The ideal candidate will proficiently monitor case calendars and communicate flawlessly, both orally and in writing, with clients and other contacts. The role also entails conducting factual, and to some extent legal, research, and aiding in trial preparation by assembling notebooks and exhibits. Applicants should exhibit experience in requesting medical records and preparing comprehensive medical summaries. A deep understanding of legal terms and NM court rules and procedures is essential. Other relevant tasks include gathering case-specific information like identifying potential witnesses or acquiring affidavits. Exceptional proofreading and word processing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint are required while knowledge of Document Management Software will be an added advantage. 58-60k</p>
