We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role requires expertise in bankruptcy cases, including chapters 11, 7, and 13, as well as experience handling various legal procedures and filings. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset to support attorneys effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage bankruptcy cases, including Chapters 11, 7, and 13, ensuring all filings are completed accurately and on time.<br>• Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and other case-related materials.<br>• Coordinate with clients to gather financial schedules and other pertinent information to support case preparation.<br>• Conduct legal research and assist attorneys in trial preparation, discovery, and civil litigation.<br>• Utilize case management software to organize and maintain case files, schedules, and deadlines.<br>• Communicate with courts and other legal entities to ensure compliance with filing requirements and deadlines.<br>• Support attorneys in managing case strategies and providing updates to clients on case progress.<br>• Collaborate with the legal team to streamline processes and ensure effective case management.<br>• Monitor and adhere to all legal regulations and guidelines relevant to bankruptcy and litigation cases.<br>• Attend hearings and trials as needed to provide on-site support to attorneys.

• At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in commercial bankruptcy and litigation.<br>• Strong knowledge of Chapters 11, 7, and 13 bankruptcy procedures and filings.<br>• Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools.<br>• Demonstrated expertise in discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation.<br>• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.<br>• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.<br>• Familiarity with legal terminology and processes related to bankruptcy and litigation.<br>• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
