Credit Card CSR
We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Card Customer Service Representative to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing back-office support in the credit and debit card services department, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of fraud reviews, payment transactions, and other operational tasks. The assignment is expected to last 2–3 months with the potential for extension.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct fraud reviews and verify transactions to ensure compliance with organizational policies.<br>• Process incoming payments and perform related tasks with accuracy and efficiency.<br>• Assist with the preparation and management of Excel-based reports and data tracking.<br>• Review documentation and paperwork for accuracy while adhering to regulatory standards.<br>• Collaborate with colleagues and management to maintain smooth departmental operations.<br>• Address billing-related issues and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.<br>• Support the card services team with entry-level and remedial tasks as needed.<br>• Approve credit applications and handle commercial credit-related processes.<br>• Provide support in handling customer service inquiries related to credit and collections.<br>• Maintain organized records and ensure all processes are completed within deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.<br>• Previous experience within a credit union or financial institution is strongly preferred.<br>• Familiarity with systems similar to Rio Grande Credit Union is a plus.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly learn new processes.<br>• Capacity to adapt effectively to project-based roles.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills.<br>• Knowledge of credit collections and commercial credit processes.<br>• Experience in customer service or call center environments is advantageous.
