Accounts Payable Specialist
<p>The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounts payable functions, ensuring invoices, payments, and expense reports are processed accurately and on time. Key responsibilities include verifying and matching invoices to purchase orders, coding transactions to the correct accounts, processing payments, reconciling AP transactions, and maintaining organized documentation. This role also supports vendor onboarding, prepares reports such as aging schedules, and assists with audits as needed. Candidates should bring at least 5 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong attention to detail. Additional qualifications such as an associate’s degree, ERP system experience, and excellent communication skills are highly valued.</p>
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.<br>• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.<br>• Experience with automated payment systems such as ACH and check processing.<br>• Ability to reconcile accounts and analyze discrepancies effectively.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.<br>• An associate’s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.<br>• Strong communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
