<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our client's team in Alabaster, Alabama. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering the opportunity to contribute to key financial operations and analysis within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will excel in financial modeling, variance analysis, and data-driven decision-making.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.</p><p>• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and forecast future trends.</p><p>• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between planned and actual financial outcomes.</p><p>• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to address specific business challenges and opportunities.</p><p>• Utilize data mining techniques to extract and interpret large datasets for actionable insights.</p><p>• Support general ledger accounting activities for plant operations.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.</p><p>• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.</p><p>• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.</p><p>• Monitor financial metrics to ensure alignment with organizational goals.</p>

<p>• Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling.</p><p>• Strong proficiency in variance analysis and ad hoc financial reporting.</p><p>• Expertise in data mining techniques and working with large datasets.</p><p>• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros.</p><p>• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.</p><p>• Effective communication skills to present complex information clearly.</p><p>• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.</p>
