We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis. This position is based in Aiken, South Carolina, and offers the flexibility to work remotely or in-office as preferred. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting litigation efforts, including trial preparation and case management.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Organize and manage discovery documents to ensure cases are trial-ready.<br>• Assist attorneys in preparing for litigation by coordinating pre-trial activities.<br>• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.<br>• Utilize case management software to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.<br>• Collaborate with legal teams to support civil litigation processes.<br>• Conduct research and gather evidence to strengthen case arguments.<br>• Prepare and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.<br>• Communicate with clients and legal professionals to facilitate case progression.<br>• Support attorneys during trial proceedings as needed.

• Proven experience in civil litigation and trial preparation.<br>• Strong proficiency in managing discovery documents.<br>• Familiarity with case management software and related tools.<br>• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.<br>• Ability to conduct detailed legal research and analysis.<br>• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.<br>• Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.<br>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
