Robert Half has always supported local communities in creative ways — and working remotely hasn’t stopped us. Here are just a few examples of our efforts to help support our local healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic:

San Ramon, Calif.

At Corporate Services in San Ramon, the facilities team arranged donations of all our remaining N95 masks from last year’s Northern California wildfires. In total, 320 masks went to the San Ramon Regional Medical Center and another 100 masks to Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Redwood City, Calif., assuring that this much-needed personal protective equipment, or PPE, would go to healthcare workers during the pandemic.

Our San Ramon time entry team also delivered treats and encouraging cards to San Ramon Regional Medical Center’s emergency room staff.

Boston, Mass.

Our Boston team, along with nearby Providence, Quincy and Westborough offices, found a way to show their gratitude by collecting donations to buy several weeks’ worth of lunches for medical professionals at three area hospitals: Massachusetts General Hospital, Carney Hospital and Tufts Medical Center. Their first stop was Mass General, as it’s known, where our team delivered a pizza lunch for more than 100 healthcare workers.

Oakbrook, Ill.

Our Oakbrook, Ill., office also raised money and organized the delivery of 35 meals to the Emergency Department staff at MacNeal Hospital in nearby Berwyn. Working through the online service Meal Train, the team chose a local caterer to provide the meal, giving them the ability to support a small business as well.

Our Washington offices

Teams in Spokane, Bellevue, Federal Way and Lynwood, Wash., partnered with our food and beverage vendor on an inspiring way to give back to nurses, doctors and medical workers. With our offices all closed, the teams donated their monthly coffee and refreshment shipment to the staff at University of Washington (UW) Medicine.
