We are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing reconciliations, preparing working papers, and handling high transaction volumes. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting year-end processes. Responsibilities: • Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Prepare and review working papers for year-end financial reporting. • Manage corporate credit card transactions and reconciliations for large volumes. • Conduct sales tax reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed. • Handle high-volume reconciliations, identifying and addressing issues effectively. • Assist with year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. • Reconcile transaction volumes and investigate any inconsistencies. • Collaborate on special projects as required, contributing to financial system enhancements. • Utilize Sage 300 and other accounting tools to maintain accurate financial data.

• Proficiency in Sage 300 or similar accounting software. • Solid experience with reconciliations, including high-volume transactions. • Strong understanding of year-end financial processes and reporting requirements. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience. • Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving project needs. • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration.
