We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Burnaby, British Columbia. This role is pivotal in bridging financial data between accounting, operations, sales, and senior management to drive strategic decision-making. If you have a talent for financial analysis and modeling, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead the development and ongoing refinement of cash flow projection models and operational forecasting tools to support both long-term planning and daily financial operations.<br>• Conduct in-depth financial analyses and prepare comprehensive reports to guide strategic decisions and evaluate return-on-investment opportunities.<br>• Ensure external financial disclosures comply with regulatory standards and align with corporate objectives.<br>• Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly management reports, offering actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.<br>• Analyze budget discrepancies, forecast variances, and year-over-year performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.<br>• Build and enhance financial models, interpreting key performance indicators to inform business strategies.<br>• Support the annual financial planning process by reconciling variances, benchmarking performance, and refining forecasts.<br>• Maintain consistency and accuracy in financial modeling, reporting, and strategic analyses.<br>• Deliver customized analytical reports to address urgent financial inquiries and support executive decision-making.
