Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Ensure compliance: Uphold strict adherence to US GAAP standards across all accounting operations to drive financial accuracy and transparency.</li><li>Lead month-end closes: Direct and refine the month-end close process, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting that supports business decision-making.</li><li>Optimize journal entries: Review, analyze, and post journal entries to maintain accurate and actionable records.</li><li>Streamline inter-company activities: Reconcile inter-company transactions to foster collaboration and integrity across organizational entities.</li><li>Strengthen balance sheet reconciliations: Prepare and audit balance sheet reconciliations, including subledgers (AP, AR), to reinforce the company’s financial foundation.</li><li>Champion lease accounting compliance: Manage lease accounting processes in alignment with ASC 842 to mitigate risks and ensure operational consistency.</li><li>Evaluate financial performance: Execute variance analysis and financial statement reviews, delivering critical insights that enable data-driven strategies.</li><li>Oversee tax strategy: Manage sales and use tax filings, while navigating audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.</li><li>Drive internal control excellence: Safeguard financial integrity by implementing and maintaining robust internal control frameworks.</li><li>Collaborate on audits: Coordinate and partner with external auditors, ensuring seamless reviews and alignment.</li><li>Lead and mentor staff: Empower and guide team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and curiosity.</li><li>Take on impactful projects: Contribute to additional duties that align with organizational goals and deliver positive outcomes.</li></ul>

Ideal Qualifications:<ul><li>CPA designation is required.</li><li>5 to 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated expertise in complex financial operations.</li><li>Proven track record of leading teams, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel, enabling dynamic data analysis and modeling.</li><li>Strong analytical aptitude with a focus on identifying opportunities and solving problems.</li><li>Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively across departments.</li><li>Experience managing accounting teams to deliver results and drive operational efficiencies.</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all deliverables.</li></ul> This is an exciting opportunity for accounting professionals to take the lead in shaping financial systems, driving operational excellence, and fostering teamwork within a dynamic environment.
