• 47% are very concerned about their company’s ability to retain valued staff. |
• 41% are somewhat concerned. |
• 39% of managers who have concerns attribute them to salary reductions and planned salary freezes. |

Ready — and Willing — to Offer More Pay
• 28% have increased starting salaries for new hires since the pandemic began. |
• 44% have made no change to starting salaries. |
• 36% are more likely to negotiate salary with new hires than a year ago. |
• 50% are equally likely to negotiate salary. |
