Based on your personal experience, what makes Robert Half one of the best workplaces for women?

Robert Half devotes unreserved support to our women employees around the globe so they can take their professional development and career paths in the direction they want while working for our company. A reflection of that commitment is Robert Half’s inclusion on FORTUNE’s 2022 Best Workplaces for Women list, among other recent accolades.

However, what makes us especially confident that we’re fostering a workplace where women can confidently build and advance their careers is the feedback we receive directly from our employees. We recently asked several women in leadership positions at Robert Half what they think makes our company one of the best workplaces for women.

Following are six reasons, based on the comments these women shared about their unique career experiences with our company:

  1. Robert Half puts its employees first
  2. Robert Half offers limitless opportunities for women
  3. Robert Half provides a rewarding career and family balance
  4. Robert Half is a great place for women who want growth
  5. Robert Half provides inclusion, support and a positive company culture
  6. The women of Robert Half are mentors and champions

1. Robert Half puts its employees first

I have been honored to work for a company for 26 years that puts its employees first. Robert Half has given me the best of both worlds, where I have been able to have a career and raise my two sons. The company has afforded me flexibility over all these years and always supported me when I needed it the most. The sky’s the limit at Robert Half.

Jill Brodbeck, branch director

2. Robert Half offers limitless opportunities for women

Robert Half is a great place for women to work because of the opportunities the company provides. In my case, that’s been the opportunity to move from a data entry job to a senior manager job, to be an amazing mom to my two children and show them what hard work and dedication can achieve, and to be a wife to my husband of 13 years and support him during his military career and in his desire to become a teacher.

Opportunity — women can make it whatever they want it to be, and Robert Half is there to support us. We have the opportunity to develop, learn and grow with a phenomenal company.

Kara Balluck, district operations senior manager

I have been with Robert Half for 25 years, and the career opportunities have been limitless. I have had some amazing mentors along the way who were strong advocates for me in my career based on work performance and results. These influencers have helped open doors and assist me in continued career growth.

Trisha Plovie, senior vice president, Global Future of Work

3. Robert Half provides a rewarding career and family balance

I joined Robert Half because it was a global leader in its industry. Two decades later, Robert Half still lives up to its reputation of being innovative in the talent solutions strategies it provides to our clients. And I remain at Robert Half because it has provided the perfect balance between offering a rewarding career and allotting the flexibility to prioritize family.

Chinetta Foster, vice president, legal permanent placement

4. Robert Half is a great place for women who want growth

Robert Half has been a great place to work because it has provided me with professional and personal growth. I have been mentored by several great women (and men) over the years. And this career mentorship provided the growth development needed to go from an entry-level role within the organization to a district director role.

Michelle Reisdorf, district director

5. Robert Half provides inclusion, support and a positive company culture

Robert Half is one of the best places for women to work because the company has cultivated an inclusive culture where women can excel. The company provides diversity training to all employees and supports employee network groups, including the Global Women’s Employee Network (GWEN). And through our Supplier Inclusion program, Robert Half supports professional organizations like the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) that promote and certify women-owned businesses.

Women are also represented in several critical senior leadership positions at the company, which further demonstrates Robert Half’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Brenda Arnold, program manager, Supplier Inclusion

6. The women of Robert Half are mentors and champions

Robert Half is a great place for women to work because you’re surrounded by several inspiring, powerful, intelligent, passionate, driven, accomplished and successful women in leadership positions.

The women of Robert Half are also role models for having families, being mothers and having successful careers. And they are mentors and champions for women to succeed — which is why I have been with the company for 18 years!
