<p>This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a Data Analytics & Reporting team focused on collecting, aggregating, analyzing, and trending data—primarily from pharmacy systems—to support data-driven programs and service solutions. The Director will collaborate with IT and executive leadership to implement and streamline processes, mentor team members, and ensure alignment between data insights and strategic business goals.</p><p><br></p>
We are looking for a skilled Database Technology Manager to lead and oversee data management and analytics initiatives. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and leadership to drive innovation and ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization. Based in New York, New York, you will play a critical role in managing advanced database technologies and fostering collaboration between technical and business teams.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead the development and implementation of advanced database solutions to meet organizational goals.<br>• Manage and optimize data analytics tools, including Tableau and Microsoft SQL Server, to ensure seamless operations.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights through data visualization.<br>• Provide mentorship and training to team members on data analytics tools and methodologies.<br>• Develop and maintain data governance standards to ensure data security and compliance.<br>• Oversee the creation of compelling visual narratives to communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders.<br>• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvements and new data solutions.<br>• Stay updated on the latest advancements in database technologies and data science to apply best practices.<br>• Support the design and maintenance of data pipelines and engineering systems.<br>• Collaborate on Agile-based projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery of data-related initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.<br>• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP ERP implementation and management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.<br>• Proven experience in the discrete manufacturing sector, preferably in the high-tech industry.<br>• Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), WM (Warehouse Management), QM (Quality Management), and FI/CO (Finance and Controlling).<br>• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.<br>• Global project management experience, including working with cross-cultural teams.<br>• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and financial operations.<br>• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.<br>• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.<br>• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).<br>• SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.<br>• PMP or other project management certifications are desirable.<br>• Strategic thinking and innovation.<br>• Leadership and team management.<br>• Strong business acumen and customer focus.<br>• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
