<p><strong>Construction Project Manager (Heavy Highway / CT DOT experience REQUIRED)</strong></p><p>Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time</p><p><strong>Local to Canton, CT</strong></p><p>Compensation: Ranging from $125,000-$150,000 depending on experience</p><p><br></p><p>A confidential construction organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in heavy highway construction and direct experience working on Connecticut Department of Transportation (CT DOT) projects.</p><p>This is a permanent opportunity for a motivated construction professional who is comfortable managing projects in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and visiting active jobsites as needed.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Manage heavy highway construction projects from planning through completion.</li><li>Coordinate project activities with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.</li><li>Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs, documentation, and overall progress.</li><li>Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and address issues as they arise.</li><li>Ensure projects are completed in accordance with contract requirements, specifications, schedules, and safety standards.</li><li>Visit active construction jobsites as needed to support project execution.</li><li>Assist with project documentation, change orders, submittals, RFIs, pay applications, and other project controls.</li><li>Work collaboratively with field and office teams in a fast-paced construction environment.</li></ul><p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li>2+ years of construction Project Management experience.</li><li>Direct experience working on CT DOT projects is required.</li><li>Heavy highway construction experience is required.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a closely related field.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Willingness and ability to visit construction jobsites as needed.</li><li>Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, scheduling, and cost management.</li></ul><p>Compensation & Benefits</p><ul><li>Permanent, full-time position</li><li>Medical, dental, and vision (MDV) benefits</li><li>401(k) plan</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Additional benefits including many company perks for outings, a company vehicle, and paid cell phone.</li></ul><p>Please apply to Daniele.Zavarella@roberthalf(com)</p>
