We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a growing manufacturing facility in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. In this role, you will oversee and manage critical financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting practices. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee all general ledger functions, including the monthly close process. • Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations to ensure timely and accurate processing. • Lead the preparation and execution of annual budgets and forecasting activities. • Handle tax compliance and coordinate audit-related tasks with external parties. • Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, ensuring accurate cost accounting procedures. • Implement and maintain effective inventory controls, including planning and analysis. • Prepare adjusting journal entries and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts. • Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, encouraging attention to detail and teamwork. • Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance. • Collaborate with other departments to support operational and strategic goals.

• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. • At least 5 years of management experience, including supervising direct reports. • Expertise in general ledger management and monthly close processes. • Strong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing cost analysis. • Proficiency in handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions. • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. • Familiarity with inventory controls, planning, and analysis. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
