<p>We are partnering with a well-established and growing organization in East County San Diego that is expanding its operations and recently added new locations, driving a need for additional support on the accounting team. This role is designed to support increased invoice and purchase order volume, as well as the continued rollout of AP automation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced AP professional who enjoys structure, ownership, and process improvement, someone who wants to step into a role where they can quickly become the go-to person for accounts payable while working alongside a collaborative team.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and on time</li><li>Perform 3-way matching (PO, receiving, invoice) — this will be a core part of the role</li><li>Manage and monitor purchase orders (roughly 50% of the workload)</li><li>Support weekly payment runs and vendor setup/maintenance</li><li>Assist with the transition to a more automated AP environment (Tipalti)</li><li>Work across multiple locations and company codes within the AP system</li><li>Partner with operations, purchasing, and the outside controller as needed</li><li>Help support inventory and audit processes by providing AP documentation</li></ul><p><br></p>
