<p>Robert Half is looking for an Assistant Controller to support the financial operations of our clients growing organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting specialist who thrives in a hands-on environment and can balance day-to-day financial oversight with thoughtful analysis. The position offers the opportunity to partner with leadership, strengthen reporting accuracy, and help guide sound business decisions.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements, ensuring complete and accurate reporting.</p><p>• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including reconciliations, issue resolution, and maintenance of clean financial records.</p><p>• Assist with budgeting efforts by compiling financial data, tracking results, and identifying variances against forecasted performance.</p><p>• Analyze lease terms and related financial components such as rent changes, tenant improvement allowances, and recoverable operating costs.</p><p>• Partner with property management teams to improve lease-related accounting practices and support accurate tenant invoicing.</p><p>• Prepare schedules, records, and supporting materials for audits while serving as a point of coordination for external audit requests.</p><p>• Work alongside the Controller and senior leadership to deliver financial insight that supports planning and operational decision-making.</p><p>• Mentor entry-level accounting team members by offering guidance, reviewing work, and encouraging strong collaboration across the department.</p><p><br></p><p>For immediate consideration please apply or contact directly Steve Fields at 919-787-8226</p>

<p>• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a role with progressive responsibility.</p><p>• Experience with month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting deadlines.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate financial reports and analyze supporting data.</p><p>• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget tracking activities.</p><p><br></p>
