Materials Coordinator
We are looking for a dedicated Materials Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in Springboro, Ohio. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in managing inventory levels, analyzing customer demands, and overseeing the supply chain process to ensure smooth operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Evaluate customer requirements to generate accurate forecasts and inventory planning.<br>• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate safety stock to meet operational needs.<br>• Create and manage purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials.<br>• Continuously track purchase orders, inventory status, and customer demands to optimize supply chain efficiency.<br>• Oversee the entire supply chain process, including incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring timely shipment and delivery.<br>• Utilize ERP systems effectively to manage logistics and streamline operations.<br>• Apply intermediate Excel skills for data analysis and reporting to support decision-making.<br>• Assess situations promptly to make informed decisions that align with business objectives.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders and ask critical questions to address issues and improve processes.<br>• Implement deductive reasoning to resolve challenges independently and enhance productivity.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials coordination, inventory management, or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in ERP systems for efficient supply chain and inventory management.<br>• Solid understanding of supply chain logistics and distribution processes.<br>• Demonstrated ability to manage purchase orders and vendor relations effectively.<br>• Intermediate-level Excel skills for data organization and reporting.<br>• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate situations and make quick decisions.<br>• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and ensure operational success.
