Corporate Contract Attorney
<p>We are looking for an experienced Corporate Contract Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in San Diego, California. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in corporate and nonprofit law to assess cases, ensure compliance, and provide strategic guidance on pending matters. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail who is capable of managing complex case reviews independently while maintaining high standards of communication and documentation.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Conduct thorough evaluations of nonprofit and corporate cases to identify gaps, determine next steps, and ensure resolution.</p><p>• Analyze prior attorney communications, case notes, and supporting documentation to reconstruct case timelines and address outstanding issues.</p><p>• Ensure clients have been appropriately informed and prepare closing letters when necessary.</p><p>• Update case statuses regularly while maintaining compliance with internal documentation standards.</p><p>• Draft clear and concise compliance-related materials and legal documents.</p><p>• Perform investigative reviews of incomplete matters to identify missing information and provide actionable solutions.</p><p>• Provide expert guidance on corporate law and business regulations to support organizational goals.</p>
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate or nonprofit law.<br>• Proven expertise in nonprofit formation, governance, and fundraising compliance.<br>• Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to reconstruct incomplete case histories.<br>• Exceptional written communication skills, particularly in drafting compliance documents and legal correspondence.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt quickly to new challenges.<br>• Proficiency in corporate law, case management, and organizing legal files.<br>• Adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
