Document Controller
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to support licensing activities for a Long-term Contract position based in Reading, Pennsylvania. This opportunity is well suited for someone who is comfortable handling regulated documentation, coordinating timelines, and researching regulatory requirements. The role will work closely with internal teams to keep records organized, submissions accurate, and compliance obligations on schedule.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Coordinate the preparation, submission, and follow-up of business license and permit applications for domestic and foreign locations.</p><p>• Oversee documentation and renewal activity related to various business needs.</p><p>• Research legal and regulatory rules affecting licensing activities to confirm compliance requirements by jurisdiction.</p><p>• Maintain organized files, tracking logs, and databases for licenses, permits, renewal dates, and supporting compliance records.</p><p>• Assemble and review application materials, renewal packets, and regulatory forms to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely filing.</p><p>• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to collect required information and resolve documentation gaps that could delay approvals or renewals.</p><p>• Monitor changing regulations and update internal records to reflect revised deadlines, filing expectations, and compliance obligations.</p><p>• Support special assignments and perform additional research related to licensing, legal documentation, and regulatory matters as needed.</p>
• Previous experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, compliance, licensing, document control, or similar administrative role.<br>• Demonstrated ability to manage licenses, permits, regulatory filings, or other compliance-related documentation.<br>• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal or regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.<br>• High level of accuracy, organization, and discretion when working with confidential documents and sensitive information.<br>• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.<br>• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external agencies.<br>• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
