We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a long-term contract position within the chemicals manufacturing industry, offering a dynamic environment to apply your expertise in network infrastructure and security. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing network systems while ensuring seamless connectivity and robust security protocols.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Configure and manage Cisco routers and switches to maintain efficient network operations.<br>• Implement and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls to ensure secure data exchange.<br>• Administer and monitor Cisco ASA systems to enhance network reliability and security.<br>• Manage and optimize Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) configurations for effective routing and connectivity.<br>• Utilize Cisco Networking solutions to maintain scalable and secure network infrastructures.<br>• Deploy Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) for streamlined network management.<br>• Analyze and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and enhance performance.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network improvements.<br>• Conduct regular assessments of network security and performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards.<br>• Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting processes for future reference.

• Proven experience with Cisco routers, switches, and networking systems.<br>• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.<br>• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA for network security.<br>• Expertise in configuring and managing Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).<br>• Familiarity with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).<br>• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.<br>• Excellent understanding of network security protocols and best practices.<br>• Strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
