We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will leverage your expertise with Cisco technologies and firewalls to design, implement, and maintain robust network solutions for our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the chemical manufacturing industry by ensuring reliable and secure connectivity across systems.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches to ensure optimal network performance.<br>• Implement and manage Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls to safeguard network security.<br>• Monitor and optimize network traffic using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) configurations.<br>• Design and deploy Cisco ACI solutions to enhance network scalability and efficiency.<br>• Perform regular system audits and updates to ensure compliance with industry standards.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network infrastructure needs.<br>• Identify and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.<br>• Develop documentation and guidelines for network operations and configurations.<br>• Provide technical support for network-related challenges and offer recommendations for improvement.<br>• Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them into network solutions as needed.

• Proven experience with Cisco routers, switches, and networking systems.<br>• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.<br>• Expertise in configuring and managing Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).<br>• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI solutions.<br>• Familiarity with Cisco ASA and networking security protocols.<br>• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively.<br>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
