We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a long-term contract opportunity based in New York, NY. This role supports a modern Microsoft-focused environment and combines hands-on technical problem solving with user-facing service for a wide range of infrastructure and endpoint needs. The position also offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to environment improvements, and strengthen overall support capabilities through technical leadership and mentorship.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Deliver high-level technical support across infrastructure, desktop systems, and end-user computing environments, resolving complex issues efficiently.<br>• Administer and troubleshoot Azure-based services, organizational user profiles, and Intune-managed devices to maintain stable operations.<br>• Design, implement, and refine Microsoft policies and configuration standards to improve security, consistency, and device performance.<br>• Work closely with the infrastructure team to address escalations, coordinate shared initiatives, and support ongoing technical projects.<br>• Provide responsive, thorough assistance to executive-level users, ensuring a high-quality support experience and timely issue resolution.<br>• Participate in testing, verification, and post-change validation activities related to infrastructure upgrades and environment updates.<br>• Guide less experienced engineers through technical challenges, share best practices, and help raise the overall capability of the support team.

• Hands-on experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem in a software engineering environment.<br>• Working knowledge of ASP.NET for building or supporting web-based applications and services.<br>• Proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end development practices.<br>• Experience developing or maintaining applications using React.js.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Azure and Intune.<br>• Ability to balance technical troubleshooting with strong end-user support and communication skills.<br>• Proven capability to collaborate across teams and contribute to shared engineering or infrastructure initiatives.
