We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Associate Attorney to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation cases alongside a national team of accomplished trial lawyers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in civil litigation and a commitment to delivering exceptional legal representation.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Represent clients in complex litigation cases, ensuring their interests are prioritized and protected.<br>• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and prepare well-crafted legal documents.<br>• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.<br>• Advocate for clients during court proceedings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.<br>• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop and execute effective case strategies.<br>• Manage multiple active cases, ensuring deadlines and workflows are consistently met.<br>• Build and maintain a strong local presence while contributing to business development initiatives.<br>• Utilize advanced litigation tools and platforms to enhance case preparation and research.<br>• Provide expert legal advice to clients and guide them through complex litigation processes.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.<br>• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation.<br>• Licensed to practice law in Louisiana state and federal courts.<br>• Proven courtroom experience, including conducting depositions and hearings.<br>• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.<br>• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.<br>• Proficiency in using litigation research platforms such as Westlaw or Lexis.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
