<p>We are looking for an eager Linux/Unix Systems Administrator.</p><p><br></p><p>Linux and Microsoft Server Administration</p><p>Storage System (Netapp)</p><p>VMWare and Citrix XenServer Administration</p><p>Server backups</p><p>Hardware installation and maintenance (requires some lifting)</p><p>Assists HelpDesk support and departmental technical service requests</p><p>Network and Telecommunications</p><p>Assists in</p><p>The management of network devices (router, firewall, switches, etc.) administration, and reporting.</p><p>Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting, and security incident handling.</p><p>Configuration of wireless network and APs.</p><p>System logging, monitoring, and access</p><p>PBX system, handsets, voicemail, and peripherals</p><p>Keeps documentation of policies and procedures up to date</p><p>Provides backup for other ITS team members as needed</p><p>Works closely with vendor support when required</p><p>On-call schedule for responding to and resolving systems issues occurring outside of business hours</p><p>Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of IT Services</p><p><br></p><p> </p>

<p><br></p><p>Two years work experience with server or network operations is required</p><p>Preference will be given to those with experience with</p><p>Basic network protocols and concepts (such as TCP/IP, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, spanning tree)</p><p>Management of enterprise networking equipment (ex. Cisco, HP, Juniper), access control lists (ACLs), basic IP routing, Ethernet</p>
