Human Resources Administrator
We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to support daily HR operations and help maintain an organized, compliant, and employee-focused environment in Merced, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who excels at coordinating documentation, managing sensitive information, and providing dependable administrative support across multiple human resources functions. The role will contribute to recruiting, employee record management, payroll support, and policy administration while helping the organization uphold consistent HR practices.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Create, update, and organize employment documentation, onboarding materials, and other HR records to ensure accuracy and consistency.<br>• Support hiring activities by scheduling interviews, preparing candidate communications, posting openings, and coordinating pre-employment steps such as reference and background checks.<br>• Respond to employee questions regarding HR processes, policies, benefits, and administrative requests in a timely and thorough manner.<br>• Maintain employee files and HR databases by entering, reviewing, and auditing information for completeness, accuracy, and confidentiality.<br>• Assist with payroll preparation by gathering timekeeping, attendance, and employee data and submitting required information to the appropriate teams.<br>• Coordinate HR meetings, surveys, and special projects, including preparing materials, tracking action items, and documenting key discussion points.<br>• Contribute to the development and revision of HR policies, procedures, and internal guidelines to support compliance and operational effectiveness.<br>• Monitor adherence to workplace regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies, escalating concerns when needed.
<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in HR support or administration.</p><p>• Previous experience working with HR systems or platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Yardi, or similar applications.</p><p>• Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and confidential records effectively.</p><p>• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees, candidates, and internal stakeholders.</p><p>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.</p><p>• Working knowledge of compliance standards, labor regulations, employee documentation practices, and disciplinary procedures.</p><p>• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced work environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Please contact Robert Half at 209.554.0521 for immediate consideration.</p>
