We are looking for a skilled Controller to oversee and optimize financial operations for a growing organization. This position is based in Mansfield, Texas, and offers a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls, while driving improvements in cash flow and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: • Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining the chart of accounts. • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and inventory accounting to ensure proper cut-offs and classifications. • Prepare detailed financial statements, management reporting packages, and variance analyses against budgets and forecasts. • Monitor and improve cash flow processes, including short-term cash management and 13-week cash flow forecasting. • Implement standardized accounting procedures, closing checklists, and review controls to enhance accuracy and compliance. • Maintain accounting systems and ensure data integrity while recommending and implementing improvements. • Design and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures to align with regulatory and contractual requirements. • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with audits and timely tax filings. • Lead and mentor a small accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development.

• Proven expertise in month-end close processes and financial statement preparation. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and GAAP accounting principles. • Experience analyzing consolidated financial statements and providing actionable insights. • Proficiency in cash flow forecasting and working capital management. • Familiarity with accounting software, such as Epicor, and related systems. • Ability to identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations. • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing accounting teams. • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities to support accurate financial reporting and compliance.
