Commercial Contracts Attorney
<p>We are looking for a skilled Commercial Contracts Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in Long Beach, California. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal support across various business operations, focusing on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements. This position is ideal for candidates with at least four years of relevant experience who excel in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role is remote and candidates that have worked in commercial sales environments for lean legal teams will be well suited for this opportunity.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Draft, review, and manage standardized agreements and contract templates to support business operations.</p><p>• Facilitate transactional workflows in alignment with the scope of work defined for contract managers.</p><p>• Prepare, negotiate, and assess manufacturing supply agreements to ensure compliance and mutual benefit.</p><p>• Oversee and manage social media contracts with influencers, handling approximately 2-3 agreements weekly.</p><p>• Review and process a high volume of contracts, averaging up to 70 agreements per quarter.</p><p>• Participate in enhancing and streamlining contract review processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns and optimize contract strategies.</p>
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate counsel or a related legal field.<br>• Must be a barred attorney, with preference given to candidates holding active California Bar admission.<br>• Strong expertise in drafting and managing contracts, templates, and transactional workflows.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.<br>• Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage competing priorities effectively.<br>• Familiarity with business and commercial law.<br>• Experience handling commercial agreements and contracts.<br>• Licensed attorney with a focus on transactional legal work.
