<p>We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida in a contract capacity with the potential for a permanent role. In this role, you will build and support integration-focused systems that connect internal platforms with external business partners while helping improve reliability, visibility, and day-to-day operational performance. This opportunity is ideal for someone who combines hands-on development experience with strong troubleshooting skills and a practical understanding of data exchange environments.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Design, develop, and maintain applications and integration solutions that support the movement of data across internal systems and external partner platforms.</p><p>• Provide ongoing support for MultiValue database environments, including administration, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and system upkeep.</p><p>• Partner with business users and stakeholders to evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend technology-driven improvements.</p><p>• Create and enhance reporting solutions that increase operational visibility and help teams track service performance more effectively.</p><p>• Follow established software development lifecycle practices to deliver tested, reliable, and maintainable application enhancements.</p><p>• Work closely with cross-functional teams on technical initiatives involving software, infrastructure, networking, and data integration needs.</p><p>• Develop and maintain EDI mappings using third-party tools, while also building custom alerts, scripts, and reports to support business operations.</p><p>• Assist with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of systems that enable efficient information exchange across the organization.</p>

<p>• 3+ years of software engineering or programmer/analyst experience, including work related to system integration or data exchange solutions.</p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.</p><p>• Experience working with MultiValue platforms such as Universe, Unidata, or similar database environments.</p><p>• Proficiency in UniVerse, UniBasic, SQL, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts, standards, and support processes.</p><p>• Familiarity with relational databases, reporting tools, and querying platforms such as Oracle.</p><p>• Working knowledge of .NET-based web application support and development is preferred.</p><p>• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.</p><p>• Experience in transportation, logistics, warehouse management, or other transaction-heavy operational environments is highly valued.</p>
