The company is in an exciting stage of growth and transformation, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in dynamic situations and wants to directly impact the future of the organization.</p><p>Why This Opportunity Stands Out</p><ul><li>Direct exposure to ownership and executive leadership</li><li>Lead and develop a team across multiple locations</li><li>High visibility role with significant influence on business decisions</li><li>Opportunity to improve processes, systems, and financial reporting</li><li>Broad responsibilities spanning accounting, forecasting, cash management, and operations</li><li>Growing organization with a strong focus on operational excellence</li></ul><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, and financial reporting</li><li>Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entities</li><li>Prepare and review financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and management reporting packages</li><li>Partner with ownership on cash flow management, profitability analysis, and strategic planning initiatives</li><li>Manage work-in-progress reporting, job costing, inventory-related accounting, and operational financial analysis</li><li>Coordinate annual audits, financial reviews, tax filings, insurance audits, and compliance requirements</li><li>Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting processes</li><li>Lead accounting system administration, integrations, and process improvement initiatives</li><li>Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff across multiple locations</li></ul>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li>5+ years of Controller or senior accounting leadership experience</li><li>Experience within construction, contracting, distribution, inventory-intensive, or project-based environments strongly preferred</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management</li><li>Experience managing teams and developing staff</li><li>Advanced Excel skills required</li><li>Experience with ERP systems and accounting software required</li><li>CPA preferred but not required</li></ul>
