We are seeking a Cost Accountant to join our client's team in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will handle critical cost accounting tasks including inventory management, COGS, and physical counts. You will also work with accounting software systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to ensure accurate financial data and records. Responsibilities: • Manage the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy• Oversee inventory management, including conducting annual physical inventories• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP tools for financial data management• Handle accounting functions including accounts payable and ledger reconciliations• Conduct budget processes and manage cash activity• Ensure process and procedures are followed for financial operations• Operate with a high level of proficiency in Oracle and Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting• Engage in regular auditing activities to ensure financial compliance
