Receptionist
<p>We are looking for a friendly and organized <strong><em>Receptionist </em></strong>to support daily front desk operations for an architectural firm in Honolulu, Hawaii. This Contract position is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience who enjoys creating a positive first impression, assisting visitors, and keeping office activities running smoothly. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Welcome visitors, answer incoming calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members in a courteous and efficient manner.</p><p>• Manage front desk activities by maintaining an orderly reception area and ensuring guests receive prompt assistance upon arrival.</p><p>• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries while keeping records organized and up to date.</p><p>• Support everyday office operations by ordering supplies and monitoring inventory to help maintain business continuity.</p><p>• Operate a multi-line phone system and relay messages accurately to staff across the organization.</p><p>• Provide basic administrative assistance, including data entry, filing, and other general clerical support as needed.</p><p>• Deliver attentive customer service by responding courteously to questions from clients, vendors, and internal personnel.</p>
• At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, customer service, or similar administrative role.<br>• Ability to manage a multi-line phone system confidently and handle call routing with accuracy.<br>• Experience with mail distribution, package handling, and general office coordination tasks.<br>• Working knowledge of basic office procedures, including filing, data entry, and administrative support.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a welcoming and detail-oriented demeanor.<br>• Proven ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a busy environment.<br>• Comfortable ordering office supplies and tracking inventory to support day-to-day operations.
