Responsibilities:• Oversee daily accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.• Manage month-end and year-end closings to ensure accurate financial reporting.• Maintain and implement effective internal controls to safeguard financial data and compliance.• Prepare regulatory filings and ensure adherence to federal and state financial regulations.• Supervise and provide guidance to the accounting team to optimize performance.• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational financial planning.• Partner with external auditors during audits and reviews to ensure transparency.• Monitor and manage general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Use accounting software proficiently to streamline financial processes and reporting.• Collaborate with leadership to improve financial strategies and operational efficiency.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or financial management. • Proficiency in document control and scanning processes. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools. • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Prior experience in the financial services industry is preferred. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
