<p>We are looking for a Network Engineer in Greenville, South Carolina on a contract-to-permanent basis. This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can support and improve core network operations while helping maintain a secure and reliable infrastructure. The role will work closely with technical teams to strengthen connectivity, troubleshoot issues, and support day-to-day network performance in an onsite environment with potential hybrid flexibility.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and firewall environments, to support stable business operations.</p><p>• Configure, monitor, and optimize Cisco networking equipment to ensure dependable connectivity across the organization.</p><p>• Administer Fortinet and FortiGate firewall solutions, including policy updates, security rule management, and performance tuning.</p><p>• Investigate network incidents, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions to minimize operational disruption.</p><p>• Support network security efforts by applying best practices, reviewing configurations, and addressing vulnerabilities as needed.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal technology teams on infrastructure improvements, deployments, and environment changes related to network operations.</p><p>• Document network configurations, procedures, and support activities to maintain clear operational records and knowledge sharing.</p>

<p>• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network support, troubleshooting, administration, etc. </p><p>• We strongly prefer a candidate certified in CCNA or CCNP </p><p>• Practical knowledge of Fortinet firewalls, including FortiGate administration and support.</p><p>• Hands-on experience working with Cisco routers, switches, and Meraki access points.</p><p>• Strong understanding of network administration principles, including routing, switching, and connectivity troubleshooting.</p><p>• Ability to diagnose technical issues methodically and resolve network problems in a timely manner.</p><p>• Experience supporting secure network environments with attention to system reliability and performance.</p><p>• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams.</p>
