We are looking for a skilled Controller to join our team in North Dallas, Texas, on a contract-to-permanent basis. In this role, you will oversee accounting and financial operations for a growing construction and energy efficiency company. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while driving process improvements and scalability within the organization. Responsibilities:• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial statements, dashboards, and budget-to-actual reports.• Lead forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.• Present financial results, trends, and insights to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and actionable recommendations.• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing processes.• Mentor and develop finance and accounting staff, fostering growth and improving team capabilities.• Support financial system integrations and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.• Establish and maintain internal policies and controls to ensure compliance and financial excellence.• Partner with operations and project management teams to maximize profitability and cash flow across various projects.• Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, driving cost efficiencies and improvements.• Work closely with auditors and consultants to ensure compliance and maintain financial transparency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management. • Expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP& A), budgeting, and forecasting. • Strong knowledge of U.S. construction accounting principles and practices. • Experience in the construction and energy efficiency industries, including solar energy, is highly preferred. • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Spectrum software. • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
