Our professional services firm client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and streamline financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of accounts payable processes. This long-term contract position is based in Franklin, Tennessee, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while implementing best practices for payment processing and invoice management. Responsibilities:• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.• Oversee invoice coding and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.• Conduct regular check runs and coordinate payment schedules to meet deadlines.• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and ensure proper handling of electronic payments.• Develop and maintain systems to improve efficiency in accounts payable operations.• Prepare and analyze reports related to accounts payable activities.• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial workflows.• Monitor and enforce compliance with financial regulations and internal guidelines.• Address vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with external partners.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment management.• Proficiency in handling check runs and managing ACH transactions.• Familiarity with financial systems and tools to maintain accurate records.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and vendors.
