Sr. Accountant
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing accounting and expertise in cost analysis. The role requires hands-on experience in financial operations and proficiency with advanced tools to support critical business processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage month-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.<br>• Perform comprehensive general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.<br>• Conduct detailed cost analysis and variance evaluations to support business decision-making.<br>• Oversee costing processes, including bill of materials and cost variance analysis.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Power BI to create reports and analyze financial data.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting challenges and improve workflows.<br>• Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations in all accounting activities.<br>• Assist in preparing financial statements and support audits as required.<br>• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.<br>• Serve as an on-site resource for accounting operations, ensuring alignment with manufacturing goals.
<p>• Proven experience in accounting roles within a manufacturing environment.</p><p>• Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger work, and journal entries.</p><p>• Strong expertise in costing, bill of materials, and variance analysis.</p><p>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Power BI for financial reporting.</p><p>• Familiarity with ERP systems,</p><p>• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.</p><p>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and present findings.</p><p>• Commitment to delivering high-quality work within strict deadlines.</p>
