Facilities Coordinator
We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to support the day-to-day operation of our workplace in Los Angeles, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can balance hands-on facility support with strong coordination across vendors, internal teams, and building services. The person in this role will help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient environment while contributing to office projects, inspections, and ongoing operational needs.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee daily facility activities by managing service requests, addressing workplace issues, and coordinating support needed to keep operations running smoothly.<br>• Partner with vendors, contractors, occupants, and facility leadership to confirm services are delivered on schedule and in line with expected standards.<br>• Conduct routine walkthroughs and inspections to identify maintenance concerns, monitor building conditions, and arrange follow-up repairs when needed.<br>• Support office moves, space reconfigurations, and workplace projects by coordinating schedules and working closely with IT, telecom, trades, and business stakeholders.<br>• Carry out light maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs, handling minor repairs, touching up painted areas, and helping maintain key control processes.<br>• Assist with safety and environmental programs by completing regular inspections, reporting hazards, supporting fire testing activities, and helping organize corrective actions.<br>• Maintain recycling, shredding, and other workplace support programs to ensure the facility remains compliant, functional, and well organized.<br>• Track consumable inventory including office, janitorial, and breakroom supplies, document deliveries, and help validate completed work and related invoices for management review.<br>• Help gather operational data, support reporting requirements, and assist with asset tracking, furniture upkeep, and physical inventory activities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.<br>• Valid driver’s license required.<br>• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in building services, facilities support, or a related environment.<br>• Working knowledge of mechanical building systems and the ability to recognize maintenance issues.<br>• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer-based administrative tasks.<br>• Experience handling work orders, reports, forms, invoice tracking, or similar facility coordination documentation.<br>• Strong organization, customer service, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse internal and external groups.<br>• Trade school training or similar technical education is preferred.
