Sr. Contracts Administrator

As Senior Manager of Government Contracts, you’ll be at the forefront of managing critical agreements, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence across federal, state, and local engagements. A laptop will be provided for the role.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Evaluate new business opportunities and provide contractual guidance to cross-functional teams.</li><li>Lead contract negotiations in coordination with legal and business stakeholders.</li><li>Draft and review contract terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with organizational policies.</li><li>Administer government contracts and support internal teams such as sales and program management.</li><li>Maintain accurate contract records and manage the full contract lifecycle, including renewals and close-outs.</li><li>Identify and assess contractual risks, escalating issues as needed.</li><li>Support compliance monitoring and internal/external audits.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.</li></ul>
<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management within a government contracting environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS and government-specific requirements.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Master’s degree.</li><li>Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.</li><li>Familiarity with GSA Multiple Award Schedule.</li><li>Experience working with federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security or Department of Defense.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p><ul><li>May require access to sensitive security information and successful completion of a federal background check.</li><li>Compensation may include base salary and performance-based incentives.</li><li>Benefits typically include healthcare, retirement plans, paid leave, and employee assistance programs.</li><li>Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential.</li></ul>
